In the southern part of El Vizcaíno Biosphere Reserve, you’ll find a very special place called Laguna San Ignacio. The saltwater lagoon branches off from the Pacific Ocean, jutting into Mexico’s Baja peninsula, and it just so happens to be where dreams come true. That is if your dream is to meet and greet a gray whale.
Not only do the massive mammals love to come close to the tourist boats, but they’re willing to do some pretty creative things to get the attention of eager onlookers. Case in point…this mother RAISING her calf out of the water for a better view!
Well, now we’ve seen everything! So, when are you booking your ticket to visit? Learn all about the lagoon and visiting it here.
